A quick update for everyone. We had a great tour in Southern California. Played several gigs, and a lot of our fans came out to see us. Played two sets in Orange County and finally wrapped up around 1 a.m. It was a great night of music. Landed in Sacramento, and opening for the great Leon Russell on July 15th at Harlow’s. Many of our fans are coming out to see us play, and of course to hear the great Mr. Russell play. We are honored to be doing an opening set with him.
Next back home for a quick break and then back to the Bay Area for the Voodoo Lounge on July 21st, (another opening set for Leon Russell). Then back up North for a date in Ashland Oregon, and then home for a break. Thanks to all for the great support. We truly enjoy playing for all of you.
Not a stellar effort by Mr. Russell, he played a few of his more popular songs and a few songs written by others. With his impressive resume, I would rather hear more depth into his personal catalog, maybe some rarities like something from Asylum Choir? I just consider my ticket price as a contribution to the retirement fund of a well-respected artist.
