We took our Woodbox With Strings EP, which was recorded as just Morgan and Jaime playing their acoustic guitars and singing their songs, and added drums, bass, electric guitars and additional vocals. The whole thing was then remixed and we added two tracks from our original EP, Worse Than You Think and Push Comes To Shove. Our producer and mentor, Rex Goble, did a fantastic job helping us create this redux EP and we’re very proud of it.

We are currently working on recording a series of shorter ep’s to release over the next year, full of brand spanking new music, but we just couldn’t wait …. We returned to the studio in May 2010 with several new songs written over the last year and performed at gigs. We had an idea to try and capture a live sound and feel on a studio recording. These sessions yielded a number of new tracks with an organic, natural quality and a strong pressence. These recordings capture a vibrant acoustic rock foundation and our signature vocal harmonies. We decided to name this record Woodbox With Strings because that’s exactly what it is: two guys with acoustic guitars and their voices making music we hope you enjoy.

This live album was recorded at The Screening Room in Portland, OR. We had a really great time playing that night, and a fine time was had by all. This recording captures the spirit of our performance that night, and includes a lot of new material that we had just finished writing.

This EP was our first recording effort. We recorded it and produced it ourselves with the help of our mentor and producer, Rex Goble. The recording of this EP was an enlightening process for us all. We like how it turned out, and we hope you do too.
